Update: Man Killed In Linden Motorcycle Crash Was Fords Resident, 21

Authorities in Linden Thursday identified the man killed in a motorcycle the day before as Moustafa Elgendi, 21, of Fords.

Police were investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Linden Wednesday night.

Elgendi was riding a 2004 Suzuki north on Roselle Street collided with a 2007 Honda CRV around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday night. Elgendi was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Honda, a 21-year-old Brooklyn man, was airlifted to University Hospital in Newark in critical condition. He was still critical Thursday, police said.

The crash was still under investigation Thursday. Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Peter Kozak at 908- 474-8505.
